Zeafruit is a Gisborne based citrus fruit marketer, utilising post-harvest packing facilities and logistics operations from Patutahi Horticulture (PHL).

Supply:

Zeafruit sources citrus fruit in Gisborne from approximately 40 growers and 100 hectares of owned and leased orchards. 

Added Value:

Zeafruit operates an added value pre-pack operation at PHL utilising supermarket own brand and Zeafruit specific branded packaging.

Procurement:

Our team of specialists (Troy and Simon) work with our grower supply partners both in a technical and operational sense, planning on orchard activities such as pest monitoring, pruning, harvesting and timing.

Pest Monitoring:

Zeafruit provides Gisborne’s only fully subsidised on orchard pest monitoring programme, utilising fruitfed monitors and managed by Juan this service highlights Zeafruits commitment to maximising orchard gate profitability.

Technical:

Zeafruit offers a fully subsidised on orchard assessment, advice and management plan through our technical advisor Juan Ferrere.

NZ Gap:

Zeafruit offers a complete operational and financial service to all its citrus suppliers, providing advice and know how regarding NZ Gap compliance as well as subsidising the ongoing yearly fees involved.
