I have been in the Horticulture industry since 1985 – covering a variety of roles within retail, buying, and wholesale before setting up my own business in 2003. I met the Zeafruit group in 2008 and it was an immediately good fit and we took a shareholding in Zeafruit in 2010, without doubt the best business decision I have ever made. My wife and I recently (June 2021) sold that shareholding to the Darling Group and now I look forward to working for then in my new role as CEO.
I spread my time between our operations in Gisborne and the Bay of Plenty but call Hanmer Springs home where I enjoy mountain biking and the outdoors.
